WestJet Vacations has new VP
WestJet has announced the appointment of two senior leaders to new roles within the company. Tim Croyle has moved into the position of vice-president and General manager, WestJet Vacations where he will be responsible for leading the continued growth and development of airline’s packaged vacation offerings. Croyle joined WestJet in February 2003 where he developed the Airports project team. From there, he became manager, Strategic Planning; director, Corporate Development and most recently director, WestJet Vacations Operations, where he was instrumental in setting the strategic direction as well as operational processes needed to accommodate its significant growth over the last several years. In a related move, Chris Avery, the tour operator’s former vice-president and general manager, moves to the position of vice-president, Network Planning, Alliances and Corporate Development. Avery joined WestJet in June 2005 as manager of Network Planning. He was promoted to vice-president of Revenue and Planning in 2006 before becoming vice-president, WestJet Vacations, in November 2009.
