Travel Nevada Taps Canuckiwi To Represent It In Canada

Travel Nevada has selected Canuckiwi Consulting to represent Nevada in Canada. Canuckiwi specializes in representing U.S. destinations and will lead Travel Nevada’s strategic direction, consumer marketing, travel trade relations, media relations, and social media.

Yennifer Diaz, Market Development Manager, Travel Nevada, said: “Canada is Nevada’s top international market so Canuckiwi’s demonstrated expertise and relationships in the market are what we are looking for.”

Diaz continued: “Canadian travel advisors, tour operators, OTAs and media are key partners to our success and the recently launched Travel Nevada Specialist Program will help to build awareness of Nevada and visitation from the Canadian market.”

Corey Marshall, Principal, Canuckiwi, said: “We are honoured to work with Travel Nevada to inspire Canadian travellers to choose Nevada. Canadians know and love Las Vegas, so there is a significant opportunity to educate potential visitors on all that Nevada has to offer in addition to the entertainment capital of the world.”

Nevada is billed as the “Road Trip Capital of America” and Travel Nevada has curated 10 road trips across the state to encourage exploration by visitors.

Itinerary themes range from wild to weird including: outdoor adventure, arts and culture, ghost towns, cowboy culture and extraterrestrial activity, as examples.

Access to Nevada is more convenient than ever for Canadians with non-stop service to Las Vegas (LAS) from Vancouver, Kelowna, Abbotsford, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Toronto, and Montreal via Air Canada, WestJet, Swoop, Lynx, Flair and Canada Jetlines. Codeshare service from Canada to Reno-Tahoe (RNO) is also available.
