Remembering Agnes
Agnes Couper, CTC, a long time member of the Canadian travel industry passed away peacefully due to complications from Parkinson Disease on July 27, 2014.
After leaving the employ of the Royal Family as a nursery nurse for Charles and Anne, “AGIS” as they called her came to Canada and embarked on a career in the travel industry.
Couper wore many hats as a travel agent, marketing company support staff, Cuba Tourist Board staff and volunteered many, many hours working as a Director for both the CITC and PATA.
Cremation has taken place and for those who wish, donations to the Parkinson Disease Foundation or Travellers’ Aid Society through Karen Fawcett – karen.ian@sympatico.ca — would be appreciated.
