Sleep With Sharks back at Maui Ocean Center

Maui Ocean Center’s education team is presenting another round of “Sleep with the Sharks.”These evenings are filled with hands-on discovery lessons designed to give children a better understanding of the unique marine environment and animals that surround them. Kids get the chance to witness shark behaviour at night, touch live sea creatures such as sea stars and urchins, participate in a supervised turtle feed at the Turtle Lagoon and more. Sleepovers are open to children in Grades 3-8. Drop-off is at 5:30 p.m. and pick-up is at 8 a.m. the following day. This activity is US$60 plus tax per child, and includes a pizza dinner, continental breakfast, snacks and souvenir. Sleep Over spots are still available for April 6 and April 20.
