Saskatoon gets first luxury boutique hotel

The James Hotel, a boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Saskatoon, is the first such luxury property in the Saskatchewan city. The 59-room/suite property is on the bank of the South Saskatchewan River. Prior to a 20-month total renovation project, the building housed apartment residences. As such, many rooms have larger floor plans and all suites have private furnished balconies with views of the city or the river. Accommodation choices include studios, one and two bedroom suites, plus the James Penthouse Rooms feature Simmons Beautyrest king beds, marble bathrooms, soaker tubs, free Wi-Fi/wired Internet access, iPod stations and chef-attended breakfasts.
