RIU To Renovate ClubHotel
RIU Hotels & Resorts will renovate the ClubHotel Riu Jalisco – found on Mexico’s Pacific coast – starting Aug. 24. This resort, located in Nuevo Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit, was the hotel chain’s first property on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. RIU will invest $12 million into a complete renovation with the new décor style, which RIU is rolling out in all its new projects. The ClubHotel Riu Jalisco enjoys a seafront location on Playa Flamingos beach next to the Riu Vallarta and near the luxurious Riu Palace Pacifico. The 700 rooms will have new furniture and new services, including flat-screen television and electronic safe. The family junior suites will include a bathroom with separate bath and shower, double sink and a second bedroom. Following the renovation, RIU’s 24-hour all-inclusive service will offer a range of dining options, including the Don Emiliano restaurant, with a buffet serving international cuisine and show cooking stations, while dinner guests can choose from the Mexican Doña Adelita, the Asian Gran Dragon, the grill-steakhouse La Botana and the Italian La Piazza. With five renovated bars and the Pacha nightclub within the hotel itself, entertainment is guaranteed day and night. Once open, the ClubHotel Riu Jalisco will include two pools with built-in Jacuzzis, a sun terrace, a steam bath, a gym and a Renova Spa wellness centre, with a selection of treatments and massages. Watersports will be managed by Scuba Caribe, while entertainment for the little ones will be taken care of by the RiuLand club entertainment team. (http://www.riu.com)
