Reaching The Summit
ACTA wants everyone to attend its 2021 Canadian Travel Industry Summit, with its president, Wendy Paradis stating: “We are inviting everyone to join ACTA on Sept. 30 & Oct. 1, 2021 as we connect the Canadian travel industry and explore a whole new world of travel.”
Paradis added: “This is a great forum to re-connect, reset and rebuild the travel industry on the road to recovery.”
Travel agents, independent travel agents, travel agency managers, owners and leaders, consortia partners and host agencies are invited to attend.
The two-day summit will include keynote speakers, critical updates from government and industry leaders, as well as opportunities to connect with peers. There will also be a virtual trade show with exhibitors, prizes and more!
During the Summit, those attending will be able to:
* Connect with all areas within the Canadian Travel Industry including key government officials, destinations, tour operators, airlines, cruise lines, hotels and more.
* Learn from subject matter experts about topics that impact your business today and helping you shape it for tomorrow.

As well, the winners of the ACTA Awards will be recognized during the Summit.
The annual awards are presented to those who have contributed to the Canadian travel industry through advocacy.
And the industry is invited to nominate colleagues and fellow travel professionals for these awards.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic that continues to affect the Canadian travel industry and the whole world, ACTA will be accepting nominations for the Gerald Heifetz Trailblazer Advocacy Award.
Recipients of the Gerald Heifetz Trailblazer Award and the Maguire-Wamsley CTM Award will be announced at the Summit.
