Porter makes RBC Insurance available

Porter Airlines is now giving its passengers the option to purchase RBC Insurance when booking flights. Insurance is available to Canadian residents and includes options such as medical coverage, trip cancellation and interruption, and baggage delay, depending on the package. “We are very pleased to now offer RBC Insurance travel insurance directly to our passengers,”said Robert Deluce, president and CEO of Porter Airlines. “This is also a preview of what we’ll offer through our Porter Escapes division.”Porter Escapes will sell vacation packages built around Porter destinations, combining flights and hotel accommodation, with car rental and travel insurance available as further options. An official start date for Porter Escapes will be announced this spring.
