Monograms unveils 2012 ‘Staycations’ program
Monograms has unveiled its 2012 “Staycations”program featuring 37 itineraries across North America. Destinations are as exotic as Alaska or California’s Redwood and Wine Country or as all-Canadian as the Maritimes or the Rockies. The company has added three new driving vacations to the Pacific Northwest, East Coast and Florida, making for a total of 19 pre-tested road trips. Also new is a rail vacation – America’s Last Frontier by Rail – and a Mexico getaway (Mysteries of the Mayan World). “There’s so much to see and do here in North America,”says Monograms’ Stéphanie Bishop. “There are hundreds of experiences waiting out there – and we make it hassle-free by providing pre-tested itineraries, accommodation, sightseeing, ground transportation where required – and in several destinations even 24 hour services of a Local Host to answer any questions about your destination.”This year, as part of its offerings, Monograms is partnering with the National Park Foundation (NPF), the official charity of the United States’ national parks, to provide unique all-in-one packaged vacation experiences in these American treasures.
