Hilton set to open all-inclusive in Puerto Vallarta

Hilton is set to make its debut on the Pacific coast of Mexico, with the upcoming property appearing in a locale that’s very familiar to Canadians and offering a type of vacation package that’s built a strong following in this country. The Hilton Puerto Vallarta is slated to open in the summer and will be the only all-inclusive Hilton in Mexico, reports Gabriela Benedetto, who oversees sales efforts in Canada for Grupo Hotelero Santa Fe, parent company of the upcoming property. “They decided to use the prestige of Hilton Hotels and offer clients a new product in Puerto Vallarta,”Benedetto says of the upcoming property. Puerto Vallarta has long been popular in Canada. The upscale Hilton will have 259 rooms and suites, with views of mountains and Puerto Vallarta’s famed bay. There will be five dining choices and a spa. Guests will also find entertainment for all ages and the property also has a Grand Salon that can seat 600 people in a banquet setting, three extra meeting rooms and a business centre.
