Highland Explorer adds three new day tours from Glasgow
Highland Explorer Tours —which is Radical Travel Group Ltd.’s Scottish touring brand— is launching three new day tours departing in 2025 from Glasgow.
Clients will be whisked away to the Scottish Highlands where they can look for the legendary Nessie at Loch Ness, enjoy a train ride along the Glenfinnan Viaduct aboard the Jacobite Steam Train (Hogwarts Express), or walk in Jamie and Claire Fraser’s footsteps on an Outlander-themed adventure.
The tours provide clients with the chance to explore Scotland’s landscapes and rich heritage, expertly led by passionate local guides.
“Glasgow is a wonderful starting point for any Scottish journey, and we are excited to launch our three new tours for 2025, inviting clients to discover this vibrant city and then onwards to their Highlands adventure while connecting them to centuries of ancient history and cherished legends which shaped our heritage,” said Graeme Ward, managing director of Highland Explorer Tours and Radical Travel Group.
“Whether guests are exploring Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, enjoying the spectacular landscapes of Glen Coe, riding the famous Jacobite Steam Train, or exploring the epic Outlander filming locations, we are committed to providing world-class experiences which capture the spirit of Scotland,” he added.
The new day tours depart from Glasgow beginning in April 2025 and include a Loch Ness Adventure with Legends and Highlands; the Highland Express with Glen Coe and Beyond; and Time travel through iconic Outlander’s Castles.
