HAWAIIAN HOTELS DECIDES TO MAKE SPECIAL AVAILABLE IN 2012 Hawaiian Hotels & Resorts (HH&R), which owns and operates the Royal Lahaina Resort on Maui and Royal Kona Resort on Hawaii’s Big Island, has extended its “Royal Experience” specials at the properties for 2012. Both Royal Experience packages are five-night minimums and feature reduced rates, Ocean View accommodations for two at the Royal Lahaina Resort or Ocean Front room at the Royal Kona Resort, buffet breakfasts for two daily, a luau for two with a buffet and Polynesian entertainment production, and sunset dinner cruise for two. At the Royal Lahaina Resort, the per night rate begins at US$265 and from US$199 at the Royal Kona Resort. Blackout dates apply and rates are subject to change. Located on Maui’s Kaanapali Beach with views of the Pacific and mountains, amenities at the Royal Lahaina Resort include two oceanfront swimming pools, a tennis ranch, two restaurants, three bars, nightly torch lighting ceremony, activities centre, country store, and oceanfront luau.
