Golf Escape to Myrtle Beach
Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday and Inlet Sports Lodge have introduced the “Wintergreen Golf Escape” package highlighted by two celebrated Grand Strand courses and luxury resort accommodations. The South Strand stay-and-play starts at $199 p.p. (double occupancy) and runs through Jan. 27. It includes one round each on two of the area’s prized layouts – Caledonia Golf & Fish Club and True Blue Golf Plantation – as well as a two-night stay in a deluxe Inlet Sports Lodge studio (www.golfholiday.com/packages/inlets-sports-lodge).

Caledonia Golf & Fish Club is a Mike Strantz-design playing to just over 6,500 yards. True Blue Golf Plantation – another Strantz gem – has garnered numerous national awards. Set in Murrells Inlet, Inlet Sports Lodge is a boutique-style, upscale resort. Room décor features hand-carved mahogany doors, pine floors and antique-style crown molding. Each is furnished with flat-screen TVs, iPod docking stations and complimentary Wi-Fi. “In room” meals can be enjoyed as the studios come equipped with a kitchenette, including a standard refrigerator, two-top burner stove, dishwasher, granite countertops and custom china. Guests can unwind in a living area with a sofa and dining table.
