Full Attendance For TL Network Mixer In YVR
It was a full house for the recent TL Network owners and managers Mixer, held in Vancouver at the historic Brock House on English Bay earlier in March. Those travel advisors who made the effort to attend not only got to meet their favourite supplier reps, but also got early access to news about TL Network sales lead numbers and a new booking tool.
“Mixer #198 was a packed house,” said Sue Urie, the TL Network business solutions manager for western Canada, who organized this event and many others. “We had 57 BC-based TL Network members attend from all over the province as well as 18 preferred supplier partners.” These were AMAWaterways, Azamara, CIE Tours, Exoticca, Explora Journeys, G Adventures, Huntington Travel, Hyatt Inclusive Collection, Kensington Tours, Majestic Resorts, Manulife, Rocky Mountaineer, Sandals & Beaches, Sunwing, Tauck, Viking Cruises, Virgin Voyages and WestJet Vacations.
During the dinner that followed the trade show, TL Network advisors received updates from various suppliers. As well, Urie announced that “Cruise Complete,” a revamped cruise booking tool, was being rolled out to CruisePRO “super bookers” to start testing, with a roll out to all members at the upcoming EDGE conference in Nashville May 8-10. She also said that leads from TLN member profiles published on canadiantravelagents.ca have surpassed 13,000 leads so far in Q1 of ‘23. She noted that 25% of the leads led to bookings that averaged $6,300 gross per couple.
Mixer #199 will be held in YWG on March 28, #200 will be held in YEG on April 18 and #201 will be held in YYC on April 25.
