For Ensemble, It’s All About The Experience
Ensemble is upbeat about its prospects half a year after it fell under the acquisition of the Navigatr Group.
Ensemble president Michael Johnson says the ensuing months have led to “significant enhancements” in what Ensemble offers member agencies, citing the likes of new technology and new training.
Johnson said Ensemble hasn’t been focusing on growth since the acquisition, instead highlighting the “benefits” resulting from it.
“We’re focusing on delivering the best possible membership experiences for existing members,” he said, adding those members are excited about developments over the past half year.
Johnson was speaking during a Jan. 24 reception at Ensemble’s offices in Toronto.
Although growth hasn’t been at the centre of Ensemble’s attention as of late, Johnson said it has been hearing from travel agents from across North America interested in becoming members.
“Clearly the message is resonating,” he said “We’re encouraged by it.”
Ensemble membership is on the upswing, he added.
Johnson said those who were Ensemble members prior to the acquisition have been “tremendously supportive” of it, adding it has brought “new energy into what’s already a strong foundation.”
Ensemble has been part of the travel community for over 50 years, prompting Johnson to state that, “There’s a legacy that we honour and cherish.”
