Flight Centre lands in the prairies
Flight Centre is opening its first shop in Saskatchewan on Aug. 13, with a second shop opening just three weeks later on Sept. 4, bringing the company’s total shops in Canada to 185. Saskatchewan marks the fifth province the travel agency has a bricks and mortar presence and expectations are high for continued growth in the region. “The Prairies have been an area we have managed to service through our home-based agents (FC Associates), our toll-free phone line and online booking engine, however, the demand has now become large enough to warrant a physical presence,”said Yolanda Moran, VP Retail Operations, for Flight Centre. “We see huge potential in Saskatchewan and its neighbouring provinces.”(http://www.flightcentre.ca)
