Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts is set to unveil two Shangri-La hotels in mainland China, increasing its greater China portfolio to 43 hotels. The Shangri-La Hotel, Qufu has opened in the historical hometown of Confucius, while Shangri-La Hotel, Shenyang will debut on Aug. 15 in Shenyang, the largest city in Northeast China and an important industrial base. To celebrate the openings, both hotels are introducing special offers that will be available until Dec. 31. Valid from Aug. 1, Shangri-La Hotel, Qufu’s special offer starts from US$129 per night for a Deluxe/River View Room and includes complimentary buffet breakfast for one person at the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, 15% off on laundry, themed welcome amenities and late check-out until 3 p.m. Valid from Aug. 15, Shangri-La Hotel, Shenyang’s opening offer starts from US$184 per night for a Deluxe Room and includes a US$49 dining credit per room per night that may be used at the hotel’s restaurants and bars (excluding in-room dining and the mini bar), welcome fruits, complimentary parking and late check-out until 3 p.m. (http://www.shangri-la.com)
