Club Med Cancun will remain open throughout renovations
Club Med Cancún is set to undergo significant renovations to its wellness and family offerings in 2024.
With the improvement of its family oasis and the addition of a Wellness Island, this will create more spaces within the resort for guests to recharge and connect.
The family-friendly, all-inclusive property – and Cancún’s only resort with three private beachfronts – provides an exceptional setting for water sports, family activities, and venturing through Mexico’s rich Mayan culture.
New upgrades coming soon
The following features will soon be in place for guests of Club Med Cancun:
- A Sports & Wellness Island that will combine an active sports area with a relaxation space. It will incorporate a new palapa for a serene yoga experience in the trees with a lagoon view, plus facilities for archery, bocce ball, mini golf, multi-sport courts, and the famed Circus School by Club Med. Set to complete April 2024.
- A dedicated Family Oasis and Children’s Clubs, giving guests more space to play, with a new look and feel inspired by the beauty of Mexico and Mayan architecture. The new area will be located next to the pickleball courts and Aguamarina family section, which features spacious family suites, a dedicated pool, kids bar and more. Set to complete December 2024.
- Kids Club relocating next to Aguamarina family section to minimize travel distance from family accommodations. The new area blends the spirit of exploration with the wonders of Mayan culture in a new convenient location for parents to take their kids.
- Baby Club Med, where parents can leave their children (ages four months to 24 months) with professionally trained staff. Babies will be able to discover colour, sounds and the natural environment through activities including music workshops, nature walks, painting activities and daily family activities like cooking classes, pool parties and snack time.
- All new play facilities including a themed Splash Park, Water Park, Mini Pool & Playground.
Following the renovations, Club Med Cancún will join Club Med Punta Cana in becoming the brand’s premium provider of all-inclusive family vacations in North America.
In addition to unlimited food and beverage, daily entertainment, and more than 25 land and water activities, the resort offers an Exclusive Collection space, Jade, for an extra touch of luxury.
