Thomas Cook's sales department has been divided into two teams to provide greater support to its various brands - the FIT or Independent team represents Holiday House, Fun Sun Vacations, Intair and Network, and the ITC team represents Sunquest and ALBATours. Transat A.T. reports revenues of $1.2 billion for the quarter ended April 30, 2012, compared with $1.1 billion in 2011, an increase of $111.3 million, or 10.1%. The company reported an operating loss of $26.2 million, compared with a margin of $9.3 million in 2011, and a net loss of $13.2 million ($0.35 per share on a diluted basis), compared with a net income of $8.7 million ($0.23 per share on a diluted basis) in 2011. Through June 20, Sunquest is featuring a "We Pay the Fuel Surcharge"promotion on all sun packages departing in September and October, from all gateways across Canada. Representing a savings of $240 per couple, the offer is valid on new bookings for travel between Sept. 1 and Oct. 27 to all destinations.
