Goway introduces direct deposit program
Goway Travel has announced the launch of a direct deposit program to pay agents commission on bookings even earlier. According to officials, the program ensures that agents receive commissions directly into their agency bank account within one week of the client making final payment. "We've always made it a priority to pay agents on time and at time of final payment, rather than at the end of travel as some suppliers do,"says VP Wholesale, Cathy Mulrine. WTTC talks tough on taxes
Pointing out the important role that the tourism industry plays in stimulating economic growth and in creating jobs, the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) is urging European Union (EU) finance ministers to avoid making "unproductive knee-jerk tax hikes at a time of austerity."
