Iconic Jerome Hotel reopens in Aspen
Set to reopen after a massive design transformation/restoration is the Hotel Jerome in Aspen, CO. This historic landmark was built during the silver boom in 1889 and has a colourful history. Architectural firm Rowland + Broughton did the archival research to ensure the hotel retains its original structural integrity, while interior designers reinterpreted the "wild west"design aesthetic to balance authenticity with luxury. 2013 Year of the Travel Agent at Jolly Beach resort
Antigua's Jolly Beach Resort & Spa has declared 2013 the "Year of the Travel Agent"with a New Year's resolution that says thank you with a trio of programs. The resort's new Incentive Program rewards agents with one free night for every seven nights booked now through April 30, accumulating free nights over multiple bookings. Agents simply fill out a short online form and they will be credited with free night to use themselves, or they can transfer up to three free nights to preferred clients who stay a minimum of seven nights. RIU to open fifth Jamaica property
RIU Hotels & Resorts has started building its fifth hotel in Jamaica. The Riu Palace Jamaica will have 238 rooms and be for those 18 years of age and over only. It will open in December 2013. The new hotel is next to Riu Montego Bay. The five-star Riu Palace Jamaica boasts a seafront location and will offer guests five restaurants. Guests of the Riu Palace Jamaica will also be able to enjoy all the facilities of the neighbouring Riu Montego Bay hotel, including its theatre with live shows every night, a sports bar open 24 hours a day, the nightclub and the Renova Spa....

Wyndham has opened the Wyndham San Jose Herradura Hotel & Conference Center in San Jose, Costa Rica, the second property it opened in the Costa Rican capital in the past month. Pool rejuvenation finished at Hilton Hawaiian Village
The Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort has just completed its seven-month, $4.3 million Tapa Pool rejuvenation project. The work includes the expansion of the swimming pool's deck space by more than 20%, retiling of the existing pool, the addition of water features in the pool, extensive tropical foliage and six private cabanas.
