Air Canada reaches tentative collective agreement with IAMAW
Air Canada has reached a new tentative collective agreement with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAMAW) representing the airline’s 11,000 Technical Operations, Maintenance and Operational Support (TMOS) group, which includes Technical Operations, Airports and Cargo, Logistics and Supply employees. Philippine Airlines (PAL) is expanding its North American network with additional nonstop flights to Vancouver, Toronto and New York from Manila. This will provide customers with more travel options and strengthen connectivity between the Philippines/Southeast Asia and Canada/the United States. Turkish Airlines is continuing to restore its Middle East network following a temporary suspension of services, resuming flights to Abu Dhabi starting July 1, 2026, Dammam starting July 10, 2026 and Kuwait starting July 11, 2026 and Bahrain starting July 16, 2026.
