Air Canada has announced a series of measures to reduce barriers and make travel simpler, more comfortable and consistently reliable for customers with disabilities. Azores Airlines will be offering up to 11 weekly flights to the Azores in 2024. In addition to 5x/week, year-round service between Toronto and Ponta Delgada, Azores Airlines will operate up to 2 weekly flights from Toronto to Terceira. IATA Reports September Provides Solid Results To End Third Quarter
IATA is reporting that the strong post-pandemic passenger traffic trend continued in September. Results include: Total traffic in September 2023 (measured in revenue passenger kilometers or RPKs) rose 30.1% compared to September 2022. Globally, traffic is now at 97.3% of pre-COVID levels. Domestic traffic hit a new high for the month of September, as traffic rose 28.3% versus September 2022 and exceeded the September 2019 level by 5.0%. Air Canada Adding New Stockholm Flights For Summer 2024
Air Canada is expanding its presence in Scandinavia, with new summer seasonal flights to Stockholm. Three weekly flights from Montreal and two weekly flights from Toronto will begin June 12, 2024. Porter Airlines is launching daily, roundtrip service between Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and Tampa (TPA).
