Air France to soon connect Paris to Kilimanjaro
Air France continues to diversify its long-haul network. After announcing the first new additions to its 2024-2025 winter schedule, the airline has unveiled an additional destination in East Africa. On Nov. 18, 2024, the airline will inaugurate a new route from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Kilimanjaro (Tanzania), as an extension of Zanzibar (also in Tanzania). On the morning of June 20, WestJet appeared before the Canadian Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) to discuss the airline's request for arbitration, in the negotiations process between the airline and the aircraft maintenance engineers and tech ops employees, and to determine next steps. On June 18, 2024, KTO, Air Canada and ADM Aéroports de Montréal officially celebrated the inaugural flight and new service from Montreal to Incheon with a launch event and ribbon cutting ceremony at Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport.
