Agents invited to become an Asia Specialist

Royal Scenic has launched its 2012 Certified Asia Specialist (CAS) program. Now in its 11th year, CAS gives retail travel professionals an overview of multiple destinations in Asia. CAS is also approved by CITC, which allows agents to earn 12 credits that count toward their CTC designation. This year, six Asian tourism boards are participating in CAS — the China National Tourist Office, the Japan National Tourism Organization, the Korea Tourism Organization, Tourism Malaysia, the Philippines Department of Tourism and the Tourism Authority of Thailand. Airline sponsors include Air Canada, American Airlines, China Airlines and Delta Airlines. Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has also committed to the program for a fifth straight year. The CAS program is available online 24 hours a day and is free to enrol. For more, visit http://www.royalscenic.com/cas . In addition, Royal Scenic has released its newly expanded tour brochure for 2012-13. It has been renamed “Bon Voyage,”a name that better reflects the increased range of products Royal Scenic offers. This year, a record 25 countries are available. A new Middle East section offers packages to the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Turkey, Jordan and Israel. The Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan has also been added, expanding the total number of tours being offered to the Indian sub-continent. A new brand of tours titled “A Tale of Two Cities”has also been added. These packages combine two destinations into one vacation. Royal Scenic has also brought back its more popular brands, including the high-end Prestige tours, the more budget-conscious Value tours, “AsiaRibbean” beach getaways and the short-stay Cityscape packages, which are now available to 43 cities.
