Remembering Pat Doherty

Let’s all take a minute today to remember Pat Doherty, who passed away in the loving arms of his family on March 27 in Florida.

The ever-smiling Doherty was one of Canada’s “larger-than-life” travel industry personalities, who enlivened conversations and events with his unbridled energy.

Doherty was well-known as one of the principals of Alltour, the major delivery service of the Canadian travel industry for many years.

While here at Baxter Travel Media, Pat was a key part of our family for more than a decade and a half – always ready with a beaming smile … and the energy to get the job done.

A service is being held tomorrow (March 30) at North Lake Presbyterian Church at 975 Rolling Acres Road in Lady Lake, Florida and plans are currently being made for a service next week in Etobicoke.

So, today, it’s with sadness and fond memories, that we remember Pat … you will be missed by family and friends here in Canada and around the world …
