BSAP 2025: Where the Industry meets the Future
The 11th annual Baxter Student Ambassador Program (BSAP) has launched, with the goal of identifying outstanding student talent in tourism and hospitality programs at Canada’s leading post-secondary institutions and supporting their transition into the workforce.
Our vision is to see the Canadian travel, tourism and hospitality industry thriving.
BSAP aims to:
- ENCOURAGE young people to get involved in the travel industry
- FOSTER networking opportunities for graduating students
- MENTOR the next generation of travel professionals
- CULTIVATE engagement in the travel industry
With 19 participating colleges and universities across the country, we look forward to providing networking and mentorship opportunities, bursaries and other prizes to this year’s winning Ambassadors.
The industry will be introduced to the 2025 Baxter Ambassadors in the special BSAP edition of Travel Courier next spring.
Last October, BSAP launched the newsletter Where the Industry Meets its Future to share training and recruitment opportunities, industry trends, inspiring career profiles and the information you need to take the Canadian travel industry into the future.
We are pleased to share the first edition of this year’s newsletter, featuring educational opportunities from UN Tourism, highlights from the World Youth and Student Travel Conference, Bruce Poon Tip’s “eureka moment” and more.
