TDC takes 50 top agents to the South of France
Transat Distribution Canada (TDC) has invited approximately 50 of the most deserving travel professionals from its Transat Travel/ Voyages Transat agencies across the country on a seven-day Bravo Excellence Club reward trip to the South of France.
The trip was also an opportunity for owners of franchised and affiliated agencies of the TDC network to allow their deserving staff to take part in this recognition trip.
“I’m delighted to mark the return of our Bravo Excellence Club trips, which have taken an enforced break in recent years,” said Karine Gagnon, TDC’s general manager. “Of course, the main criterion for selecting the people who participated in this trip was exceptional sales results. These women and men have surpassed themselves throughout 2023 and stood out for their performance. And there’s no better way to reward and thank travel enthusiasts than with the very fruit of their passion”.
For Anthony Mormina, whose first Bravo Excellence Club trip since his appointment as senior sales and operations manager last year, this opportunity to meet and, above all, to have time to talk to and get to know some of the staff at his agencies, is extremely valuable. “This trip is all about pleasure: visiting, meeting and discovering.
“The name says it all, the aim is to say bravo and thank you, for the determination and invaluable dedication deployed,” said Mormina. “I’m looking forward to next year’s trip, when I hope to see many familiar faces again and have the pleasure of discovering recruits within this exceptional group.”
Exploring Lyon and Marseille
The winners arrived in Lyon on Air Transat and had the opportunity to discover the city’s extraordinary gastronomy, as well as the surrounding region, notably Vienne-Condrieu.
On the menu: a visit to the Halles de Paul Bocuse, Croix-Rousse and Fourvières, the Cité du Chocolat and the Guigal vineyards, to name but a few. The group then headed for Marseille, where they had the chance to discover the fish market, the Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilization (MUCEM), and a boat tour of the Calanques, with a stop at prehistoric caves.
Everyone also had the chance to discover some of France’s most beautiful villages, including Lourmarin and Gordes, as well as stopping off in Aix-en-Provence.
A colourful evening of recognition
The highlight of the trip was the recognition evening on the magnificent terrace of the Sport Beach in Marseille.
Addressing the advisors present, Gagnon emphasized that “every reservation secured by you is not just a transaction, it’s a renewed opportunity for you to demonstrate to your customers your determination to offer them exceptional service, which will translate into the finest travel experience possible. Your ability to connect with your customers, to understand their needs and, above all, to offer them the product or products that will meet or exceed their expectations, is what you do every day. And TDC thanks you for giving your best every day.”
TDC would like to thank its many partners, without whom this trip would not have been such a success: Transat, the Marseille Tourism, Leisure and Convention Office, Aéroport Marseille Provence, Only Lyon, the Aix-en-Provence Tourism Office, Destination Luberon Tourism Office, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Tourisme and Jumbo Tours France.
