Connecting at Tourism Ireland’s Business Events Showcase

Tourism Ireland’s Business Events Showcase at Reid’s Distillery in downtown Toronto provided 20 meetings and events planners based in the Greater Toronto Area with a warm Irish welcome last week.

The B2B event saw the planners meet, and do business with, six tourism businesses from Ireland representing DMCs, hoteliers and attractions including Moloney & Kelly, TIFCO Hotel Group, Dublin Convention Bureau, Visit Belfast, Hastings Hotels and Titanic Belfast.

The aim of the event was to showcase Ireland as the best place to connect for Meetings and Incentive Travel Planners by highlighting the unique venues, countryside resorts and city properties, iconic cultural experiences, and superb food and drink offerings on the Emerald Isle.

The event delivered engaging and experiential activations, including a high tea experience and a craft cocktail making contest, all while highlighting the destination’s best asset – the people!
