Air Canada Takes It Up A Notch

Air Canada has unveiled its first Maple Leaf Lounge at the San Francisco International Airport and Air Canada’s first-ever outdoor lounge space.

Eligible customers can now enjoy premium food and drink offerings from Canada and California; and views of the runways and aircrafts from the terrace.

As part of Air Canada’s major investments to strengthen its customer experience, the new 165-seat lounge, which is the airline’s 28th lounge worldwide, elevates the airport experience for travel to Canada or for customers simply passing through on their way to Europe, Asia, and Australia via the airline’s main hubs: Toronto Pearson, Montreal Trudeau and Vancouver International Airport.

Travellers can also find an offering of local flavours at the new lounge, thanks to the self-serve hot and cold buffet, as well as Californian wines, curated cocktails and local craft beer from the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company and Anchor Brewing.

Additionally, Air Canada has re-introduced Newark Liberty International Airport to its roster of lounges. Air Canada will be uniquely co-located within the new United Club location, offering a dedicated customer service desk and an access policy consistent with Air Canada’s Maple Leaf Lounges.

Air Canada, in partnership with United Airlines, offers up to 21 daily flights from San Francisco to Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto and Montreal, representing up to approximately 21,000 seats weekly.

Select flights between San Francisco and Toronto are operated onboard wide-body aircraft offering Air Canada’s lie-flat pods.
