Industry friends gathered on June 10 to honour Stephanie Bishop and celebrate her retirement.

Bishop announced she was retiring in March after 15 years as the managing director of the Globus family of brands’ operations here in Canada.

At the time, Bishop observed: “I could not have chosen a better final chapter to my career. Building trade partnerships and friendships across the country, while inspiring Canadians to experience the world on award-winning river cruises and tours, has provided me immeasurable joy.”

Bishop joined the Globus family of brands as managing director of the company’s Toronto office in 2008, but she has spent over four decades in the industry in a variety of marketing, sales and leadership roles.

Enjoy your retirement, Stephanie … we’ll all miss you …
