Palladium And Wyndham Celebrate Alliance
Representatives from Palladium Hotel Group and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts gathered in Mexico earlier this month to officially celebrate the launch of a new strategic alliance.
Through the partnership, 14 all-inclusive TRS Hotels and Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts in Mexico, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Brazil — representing 6,500 rooms — are now part of Wyndham’s Registry Collection Hotels.
“Palladium, we turned 50 years old in 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic… We like to think that we’re in the business of turning great experiences into memories for life,” Jesús Sobrino, CEO of Palladium Hotel Group, said kicking off the celebrations at Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort & Spa, located north of the Cancun hotel zone. “What we are celebrating from a Palladium standpoint is we are increasing our power of distribution.”
By joining the Registry Collection, Sobrino said they’ll have access to almost 100 million Wyndham Rewards loyalty program members while still being able to keep all the legacy of the company’s existing branding and brand recognition in place.
Lisa Borromeo Checchio, chief marketing officer of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, noted that the two well known hospitality brands share similar values when it comes to integrity, accountability and letting guests have fun.
“We send millions of people on vacation every year but it allows now our members to have access to resorts like this that they would have never had before,” she said. “Thank you for trusting us as your partner, we look forward to a very long and prosperous relationship together.”
Wyndham’s all-inclusive resort portfolio now spans 26 hotels.
