Porter Escapes connecting with agents

Porter Escapes is now accepting travel agency pre-registrations on its web site. Agencies that register with the newly launched tour operator will be among the first to benefit from its exclusive product offers that match Porter Airlines flights with its “experience-driven” escapes for clients. Top hotels, exclusive local offerings, ski or golf packages and more are being featured by Porter Escapes. Car rentals and travel insurance are other booking options. It really is unlike traditional tour operators, allowing agents to provide their customers with something different at the high Porter service levels that they now expect.” Agencies can register by going to http://www.porterescapes.com/register Note that all agencies are required to register for Porter Escapes, regardless if they are already registered with Porter Airlines. Industry-standard commission will be paid for Porter Escapes bookings. The tour company advises that initially, access to Sirev — http://www.Sirev.com, the internet-based GDS powered by Soft Voyage — is necessary for travel agencies to process bookings electronically. Sirev provides product access from anywhere that a registered agency has an Internet connection and does not require a desktop application. Other GDS access will become available in coming months. Agencies can also immediately make telephone bookings with a Porter Escapes Travel Planner when reservations open later this year. Porter Escapes is a subsidiary of Porter Aviation Holdings Inc.
