A Christmas Wish From Ian Race

“I’d like to take a moment to wish you and yours the very best of the holiday season,” writes K. Ian Race, senior vice president, corporate sales & business development for Direct Travel.

Race continues:

“It’s been a very challenging year & a period of time that actually stretches back for over 21 months for which we will all no doubt be happy to have firmly in our rear-view mirrors. 

No matter where you are located, no matter who you are working for, and no matter what you are doing today in your life, we have ALL been impacted in some way by this COVID Pandemic.”

He observes that:

“For those of us fortunate enough to have been able to travel, meet with staff & customers during this time it was up until most recently starting to seem that some form of normal is indeed on the horizon.  We can only hope that we are all able to keep Omicron in check so we can indeed see a return to “normal” sooner than later.

“For others that have not been able to leave the safe confines of home office, or their home cities, provinces, states or countries because of the impact of COVID, there is no doubt that you are ready for the time when you can hop on a plane to go visit friends, family or just to go somewhere warm or different to recharge.”

And Race points out that:

“We are all overdue, and THAT is my Christmas wish for all of you … To be able to have COVID behind us so we can carry on with our lives, visit friends & family and travel freely and safely once again.”

Writes Race:

“Recently the Direct Travel Sales Team came together for an in-person training and educational session at which we found time to create our own cottage themed Holiday Card …. On behalf of the entire team here at Direct Travel I’d like to wish you & yours all the very best for the Holiday Season & a very Happy, Healthy & Safe New Year’s.”

And Race concludes:
