The man who is often seen as the voice of Tourism Vancouver has a few other talents on the go, including a penchant for penning books. The latest work to be tabled by Rick Antonson, CEO of Tourism Vancouver, is another travel tale, like his first book “To Timbuktu for a Haircut.”But “Route 66 Still Kicks”takes the reader on a more nostalgic, history-filled journey down America’s “mother road.”He and his co-driver pilot a red Mustang nearly 4,000 km on the remaining sections of Route 66, recounting anecdotes and relevant history as they go.
