Delta picks a president
Delta Hotels & Resorts has picked Kenneth Greene as its new president and CEO. Greene will take over his new responsibilities in September 2012. Greene was was most recently president & managing director, Asia Pacific Region for the Wyndham Hotel Group. Since 2001 he has held successive senior leadership roles at Wyndham, based at their world headquarters in Parsippany, New Jersey, guiding the growth initiative for various brands within the Wyndham group including group president – Ramada, Days Inn, Howard Johnson and Travelodge; president – Days Inn Worldwide; president – Howard Johnson International and Travelodge Hotels Inc.; and chief financial officer for Wyndham Hotel Group. Prior to joining Wyndham, Greene has held senior financial, strategic planning and development leadership roles for such global organizations as NRT, Inc., Cendant Corporation, HFS, Inc., and Coldwell Banker Residential Affiliates, Inc. Greene, an MBA graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas, is regarded as one of the industry’s global leaders in growing brands. His expertise in brand management, development and investment banking positions him well to enable Delta to realize its growth strategy.
