There’s spirit at the Novotel Mississauga

The Greater Toronto Hotel Association (GTHA) has recognized Novotel Mississauga reservations agent, Clint Aquino with its 2012 Spirit Award, naming him Reservation Ambassador of the Year during its recent awards presentation event. The GTHA’s Spirit Awards recognize individuals who make an exceptional contribution to area’s hotel industry. Janak Bhawnani, general manager of the Novotel Toronto Centre, commented: “We were pleased to be able to nominate 20 employees from our Novotel hotels in Toronto, North York and Mississauga for Spirit Awards in the different categories. And we are thrilled that Clint won. That is no small feat, considering that the Greater Toronto Hotel Association represents more than 170 hotels with 32,000 employees. He was up against a lot of competition.”The Reservations Ambassador Award recognizes a reservations agent who consistently demonstrates brand service skills, demonstrates a can-do attitude that goes above and beyond for the team, contributes to the overall corporate performance of the business, and takes ownership of any guest problem/issue.
