GLP hosts May 3 breakfast seminar
GLP Worldwide Expeditions is offering agents an opportunity to see its operations, meet staff as well as learn about the increasing roster of cruise, land and package products they offer. Agents are invited to attend an “informative and engaging”breakfast seminar on May 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The seminar will be held at GLP’s head office in Markham, Ont. “Agents can learn about GLP’s vast range of products, how to effectively sell to their clients, and what commissions and special incentives we have planned for them this year,”says Patrick Tsung, president of GLP Worldwide Expedition Travel and Tours. As an added incentive, agents who attend the breakfast seminar will be moved to the top tier commission level for any bookings made within six months of the seminar date. There will also be a special presentation as part of the seminar by a senior sales executive from Hurtigruten. For many agents GLP Worldwide is synonymous with cruise products and acting as the Canadian representative for many top cruise lines, including Hurtigruten, Fred. Olsen Cruises, Luftner Cruises, Go Barging and AMA Waterways. Product destinations have extended far beyond Norway, Russia, Antarctica, Scandinavia and Europe. There are now a number of cruises available in the increasing popular Mekong Delta in Southeast Asia, as well as many land packages. Recent cruise products include four new safari cruises in Africa with AMA Waterways. For the truly adventurous GLP now offers cruise adventures to the North Pole. Agents interested in attending the workshop can register by contacting Cyndy Quirabo at cquirabo@glpworldwide.com .
