Let’s Get Uncomfortable
Let’s Get Uncomfortable has announced a third virtual event on Confronting Anti-Black Racism in Travel & Tourism.
LGU’s Shalene Dudley, founder of Latitude Concierge Travels, will sit down with Mpuuga Rwabutara, senior account executive at Flight Centre Travel Group and the organization’s newly appointed Diversity Ambassador.
Dudley and Rwabutara will discuss this new role at Flight Centre Travel Group & its significance; the work Rwabutara is doing as a result; and what other travel professionals & organizations can learn and implement in their own work.
The conversation will be one-hour, followed by a 30-minute Q&A session, whereby participants will have the chance to ask Dudley and Rwabutara questions.
The next Let’s Get Uncomfortable event is set for Tues., Oct. 27 at 1 pm to 2:30 p.m. PT / 4 – 5:30 p.m. ET.
