Renovated Holiday Inn opens in Edmonton South

IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) has recently announced the opening of the Holiday Inn Conference Centre Edmonton South, following a $4.2 million upgrade from a Greenwood Inn & Suites. The 224-room hotel offers a variety of amenities for business and leisure travellers, including an on-site fitness centre, a pool/hot tub and 650 square metres of meeting space. The hotel is close to the South Common Mall, Fort Edmonton Park and Jubilee Auditorium. Kids 12 and under eat free when ordering from the kids’ menu in the hotel restaurant and accompanied by a dining adult. Guestrooms feature double-, queen- or king-sized beds and deluxe suites have a sitting area, sofa bed and lounge chair. The rooms also have a work desk, ergonomic chair, data ports, complimentary WiFi, cable TV, hairdryer, coffee maker, iron, etc. Bathrooms feature a specially designed showerhead with superior pressure, plus a signature shower curtain with curved rod and new amenities.
