Astor, IIT Celebrate In YYZ
Toronto’s Astor Travels and International Institute of Travel were spreading tidings of comfort and joy Friday evening.
The two firms held a party that attracted students and travel industry members alike, with International Institute of Travel president Rudolph Nareen saying he was happy to host the varied group.
“We appreciate what the customers have done and we appreciate what the industry has done for us,” he said.
The International Institute of Travel has been in business for some 40 years.
The institute’s Aline Sosa said she too was pleased to show appreciation for a cross-section of the industry.
“It’s time to get together with our students and clients and suppliers and celebrate the season and the holidays,” she said.
Among representatives of suppliers on hand was Yury Manukhov of Canadian Gateway, who labelled the party “amazing. I met some old friends and new friends,” he said while praising his hosts for holding the event.
