100 years of Canadian-Scott regiment RBCM
An exhibit marking 100 years of service by the Canadian Scottish Regiment (Princess Mary’s) in Peace and War has opened at the Royal BC Museum. The new exhibit tells their stories of valour and service in time for Remembrance Day and marks the regiment’s centennial year. It fought to retake Vimy and stormed the beaches of Normandy. It was on the ground to keep the peace in Bosnia/Kosovo and Afghanistan. Photographs, letters, memorabilia and artifacts, including effects from the regiment’s St. Bernard mascot, are on display.
